  • Proficient in Drupal development, including designing/coding Drupal themes, writing custom Drupal modules, setting up websites, and importing existing sites to Drupal.
  • Proficient in Wordpress design and development, including designing/coding Wordpress themes, custom Wordpress plugins and behaviors, and importing blogs from other platforms (Movable Type, Blogger, LiveJournal, etc) to Wordpress.
  • Proficient in XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript (including jQuery and AJAX), Perl, Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0, XML, and database-driven applications.

Library Web Developer

  • Maintains appearance of and technology behind Drexel University Libraries websites, run on Drupal, including ongoing site enhancements and new features.  Also maintains the Drexel University Libraries Blogs and Research Guides, run on WordPress, including WordPress theme enhancements, custom plug-ins for localized workflow, and new features.
  • Contributes to and administers usability studies of Libraries sites and applications, including those run and owned by Drexel Libraries, analyzing results and adapting designs as needed.
  • Extends the use of the Library OPAC, including JavaScript feature integration and HTML template design.
  • Works with Library staff to research new technologies and develop new services through the Libraries websites for students.
  • Research and develop for web accessibility techniques for Higher Education and Library websites.
  • Webmaster for Drexel University Libraries.
  • Programs and maintains large-scale applications for Drexel University Libraries, including the Drexel Libraries Room Reservation System, an online system for student-use, for reserving group study rooms.

Majored in the Digital Arts program with concentratioin Interactive Multimedia and Computer Science with the purpose of gaining as much knowledge and as many skills as possible for a job in the field of web/graphic design, videography, and/or application development after graduation.
